'A' Levels Results...

Congratulations Oscar!  My son got into Oxford University with his A level results, but he's not really happy...  He got an 'A*' History; 'A' English (1 mark off an A*); 'A' Classics (2 marks off an A*).  He wants to have the last two remarked, but of course marks can go down as well as up...  He also got an 'A' for AS level Latin.  A remark won't make any difference to his university place, but, I suppose, it's just a matter of personal pride.  Anyway, I'm very proud of him!  He worked very hard and deserves this, so good luck.  He's just off on a three weeks jaunt around Europe, which makes me very jealous.
